Sunburn Repair Cream

Aloe Vera gel is combined with sunflower oil to provide long-lasting relief from sunburn or other mild burns. Aloe is the classic plant for healing burns while sunflower oil maintains the skin's moisture barrier. To help ease the pain, St. John's Wort is added. It works directly on the nerves, preventing them from sending pain signals to the brain. I throw in a splash of Lavender essential oil to help repair the skin.

Sunburn Repair Cream can relieve sunburn pain up to 3 hours. Commercial Aloe Vera gel is diluted with alcohol so the cooling effect lasts about 15 minutes at the most. I combine 91% pure Aloe Vera gel with sunflower oil to keep the Aloe from evaporating too quickly and to hydrate parched skin.
